Apple pie with crunchy butter crumble

Here's a recipe for a wonderfully juicy apple pie with crunchy butter crumbs from the tin that I baked yesterday - after that the whole house smelled of butter and apples for a long time!

ingredients

For the ground

  • 125 g of butter
  • 120 g of sugar
  • 1 Pck.Vanillezucker
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 250 g flour
  • 1 pck of baking soda
  • 100 g of sour cream

For covering

  • 5-6 apples (about 850 g)
  • 80 g raisins
  • a little apple juice
  • some cinnamon and sugar

For the crumble

  • 300 g of flour
  • 175 g of butter
  • 150 g of sugar
  • 1 tbsp oil

preparation

  1. I had already soaked the raisins overnight in some apple juice.
  2. First, the apples are washed and freed from the core (I did not peel them), then cut into small pieces, sprinkled with a little cinnamon and mixed with the soaked raisins.
  3. The oven is preheated to 200 degrees (top / bottom heat).
  4. For the bottom of the dough, the warm butter with the sugar, vanilla sugar and the eggs is stirred creamy with the hand mixer, the flour mixed with the baking powder is gradually sifted over it and always stirred well. Finally, you stir in the sour cream.
  5. Then the dough is spread evenly on a greased or baking paper lined sheet and then the apple-raisin mixture is distributed thereon. You may be able to sprinkle some sugar over it if you use sour apples.
  6. Now just mix all ingredients for the crumble well, from crumbles formed and this are given over the apple coating, then it's off in the hot oven.

Tips

  • The baking time is 30-35 minutes.
  • The finished cake may be dusted with powdered sugar after cooling.
  • Of course, this cake is also good with other fruits or berries.
  • And another hot tip: Also warm and with a little whipped cream it is already a delicious treat! :-)
