Beer punch with sour cherries

ingredients

  • 2.5 L Pils (or better: dark beer)
  • 250 g of sugar
  • 1 untreated lemon
  • 1/8 l of grain
  • 1 glass of sour cherries (pitted)

preparation

  1. Put the cherries on a sieve and drain (collecting the juice)
  2. Squeeze out the lemon
  3. Bring cherry juice with lemon peel and sugar to a boil and let cool (bowl out)
  4. Soak cherries with grain and lemon juice and chill
  5. Before serving, mix cherries (with grain), cherry juice and well chilled beer.
