Big flies get rid of
Not only the small normal houseflies are very annoying, everyone knows the big big black flies, which are still a bit meaner and nimble and even if they do not sting, these beasts are just totally on the mind and you want them so fast as possible out of the apartment.
One should not forget, a fly lays up to 1000 eggs, which are preferably stored in food or garbage. Not only are they very annoying, they can also transmit disease. Before that on the dog excrement outside in the meadow and now she sits with relish on one of our apples.
Of course, fly screens on the windows are the optimal solution, but who has no or z. B. has old windows, where the attachment is unfortunately not easy, but can still manage thanks to some tricks.
- Never leave food left over. Fruit is Fly Magnet No. 1 also fruit juices, crumbs or leftovers from lunch. Also fruits always best always cover.
- Open windows only completely on the shadow side. Since the flies like to stay in the sun, only the windows on the shade side should be opened for airing.
- Defense with plants. There are some plants that do not like flies u. a. Tomato plants, basil, lavender and mint but also cloves peppered in lemons are great on the windowsill.
- Make lethal trap with sweetener tablets. Dissolve about 10 pieces of the tablets in about 50 ml of water and add some sugar. To fill this mixture in a bowl, it is poisonous for the flies.
