Blistering plaster instead of plaster

A few weeks ago I added a 4 mm deep cut in the middle finger, about 1 cm long. It bleed heavily. After disinfecting, I searched for a patch, knowing that I needed to recover 10 pieces of it. I am very sensitive with plaster. It looks pretty nasty when it gets dirty, especially around the edges.

I only had blister plaster at home, which I actually use for blisters, eg. B. when hiking. In desperation and to stop the bleeding, I bonded the wound with the blister patch. I pressed the protruding part tightly together and cut off the protruding part.

I was able to shower with the pavement, do housework and gardening (with gloves). After 4 days, I broke the pavement and the cut was barely visible.

Also, the patch looked good all day long and importantly: I was able to wash my hands and dry it out, without anything getting loose.

A pharmacist has advised me to glue a burn wound with blister plaster, until no more liquid forms. (about 6 days) I wanted to buy then in the pharmacy Brandsalbe. Also this wound healed very well. It was a long narrow burn, I was scarred along a hot pot. Of course, if the burn is bigger, you should consult a doctor.
