  • 6 stale bread rolls or 250g stale bread
  • 3 / 8l milk
  • 125g butter or margarine
  • 125g sugar
  • 5 egg yolks

  • 1 MSP anise

  • (Cinnamon, aniseed, cardamom can also do more, clove rather carefully)
  • 100g chopped almonds
  • 750g sour cherries, fresh or from the glass
