Clean edges when painting walls

If you e.g. To draw a color accentuation on the wall, draw with a spirit level and a pencil (make sure that it is a real pencil and not a document pencil, because it will get wet when painted over and shimmer through the line, no matter how many times you look there sweeps) corresponding pattern (if it should be straight lines, otherwise you can also mark free hand).

Then you stick with the flexible painter's crepe so that you can still see the pencil line so straight. Many then use after the finished masking for the edge acrylic (no silicone, because not overpaintable, acrylic is paintable). However, I paint the edge to the painter's crepe once with the existing color of the wall, make until the color is dried other painting or preparations and then I paint the taped in a correspondingly different hue. So you have an exate and sharp line and not such a "frayed". It does not matter whether you are in the wet state of the color accent, or if already dried, the painters crepe removed. The edge remains "clean".
