Clean patio tiles and wooden garden furniture: with soda

My terrace is located on the northwest side of the house and thus easily gets these familiar green coverings. You can easily remove them like this:

After a shower, soda (available in every drugstore) sprinkle on it, let something move in. Then simply rinse off with the garden hose (even better: high-pressure cleaner). If you then sweep away the remains of water with the broom, the last remnant of the mossy surface is gone, the terrace looks like new.

This works in the same way with garden furniture made of wood and wooden palisade walls, etc. Is cheap and NOT harmful to the environment, like all these chemical cleaners.
