Crafts with children: a treasure chest
For a treasure chest you just need:
- a shoe box with a lid or a chipboard box (available in craft shops)
- colorful paper
- Glitzerpailetten
- Glitter powder
- colour
- Stoffreste
- Glue
The box or cardboard is painted all over or pasted with the colorful paper.
Then you glitter on glitter powder and / or glitter sequins, these are the gems. You can also just form some aluminum foil into small balls and stick them on.
In the interior of the box, one sticks the scraps of fabric as a cushion for the "treasures".
The lid can be e.g. with a gold or silver pen write "treasure chest of ..." or the child just writes his name on it.
Such a box is a nice storage place for small treasures.
