If it's going to be really quick again, I'm happy to prepare these tasty, very crispy Rösti-Taler.
ingredients
- about 500-600 g of potatoes
- 1 onion
- 2 eggs
- 50 g of pungent oatmeal
- 4 tablespoons of flour (preferably spelled wholemeal flour)
- 3 tablespoons sunflower seeds
- Pepper, salt, caraway (slightly insignificant)
- some nutmeg and chili
- Rapeseed oil for frying
- Cream cheese
preparation
- Peel and grate the potatoes, then place in a sieve or cloth and squeeze out the moisture.
- Dice the onion very finely and mix well with the potato rasps, eggs, oatmeal, flour and sunflower seeds in a bowl.
- Then season the mixture with pepper, salt, cumin, nutmeg and chilli vigorously.
- Heat the oil in a non-stick pan and add the tablespoon to the pan in small piles, squeeze gently and sauté until crispy golden brown on both sides.
- This is a fast, meatless dish for 2 to 3 people, which we always enjoy tasting again, and despite the spices, these Rösti-Taler are even sprinkled with sugar very tasty!
Another tip:
If it does not have to go so fast, then there's still a crisp-fresh cabbage-apple-carrot salad!
