Excessive sweating under the armpits, & no deodorant helps?

There are many people who sweat morbidly under the armpits. Morbid means that sweat occurs in many places, frequently or even permanently, regardless of external circumstances.

So it can even happen that you sweat at the armpits at -20 degrees in winter, although otherwise you freeze.

Most people misjudge that it is a morbid disorder - but there is even a name for it: hyperhidrosis. Of course, this can also have other, medically detectable, causes - it's best to clarify this with his family doctor / Hautartz.

Who does not have a serious illness and who is healthy, will probably have to make friends with his hyperhidrosis. If you look around the internet a little, you will also come across one or the other helping commercial product.

But since none of those helped with me, here's a recipe for a solution:

With this one can go to the pharmacy of his choice and mix it up - it does not require a prescription from the doctor, all components are freely available:

  • Aluminum chloride hexahydrate 20% (w / v)
  • Ethanol 70% ad 100 ml or isopropanol.

The price of the solution is currently, according to my experience at about 8 EUR per bottle.

The whole thing is applied every 2 days before going to bed via cotton pad. The pad should be soaked in the solution, but be careful not to overdo it. Otherwise it will be difficult to fall asleep, because it will soon itch vigorously.

It helps with me - I've been using it for several months, and have been "dry" ever since. Really nice :)
