Fast semi-frozen ice cream

Commercial ice cream with its high sugar content drives up my blood sugar levels. I am diabetic. That's when I recently came up with the idea to make my "own" ice cream. In the frozen section of the supermarket you can buy various frozen berries.

It is very fast, very easy and is intended for immediate consumption.

I thawed about 200 g of berry fruit and then, depending on your taste, added 2-3 high tablespoons of curd cheese quark. Add a few drops of liquid sweetener and puree with the cutting stick. The result is a delicious, semi-frozen ice cream.


Even my family thought that was delicious.

If you do not have to pay attention to your blood sugar you can add real sugar instead of sweetener. And for the very "hard" you can leave both.

This is how blueberry ice cream, strawberry ice cream and mixed berry ice cream came into being. And all without many calories.

If you like, you should try it, it tastes really fresh, fruity and it is also low in calories.
