Finger food: salty, sour cheese pops

It is time again for barbecues, where everyone should contribute something besides the barbecue to something for the general public. Salads were already planned enough, that's why I have the trend to? Cake pops? turned into a harsh version with cheese. The stalks for the delicious balls are served with pretzel sticks.

Ingredients for twelve pops:

  • 200 g cream cheese
  • 100 g of Parmesan
  • 60 g of dried cranberries
  • rosemary
  • thyme
  • 60 g of walnuts
  • 60 g pine nuts
  • 60 g of pistachios
  • salt
  • pepper
  • Pretzel Sticks

preparation

  1. Rub the parmesan and mix with the cream cheese.
  2. Chop the herbs and cranberries and mix in as well.
  3. Lightly brown the pine nuts and walnuts in the pan, mince them and add a third of them to the cheese mixture.
  4. Season the mixture with salt and pepper and place in the refrigerator for one hour.
  5. Peel and chop the pistachios and add to the remaining nut mixture.
  6. From the cheese mixture small balls are then formed, which are then turned in the nut mixture.
  7. If the balls are coated with the nut mixture, a salt stick is still stuck in each cheese pop.

So nobody gets their hands dirty. Instead of rosemary and thyme, other herbs can be used. If you do not have Parmesan at home, you can also rub another hard cheese into the cheese mixture.
