Free thyme and rosemary in olive oil

Many herbs, such as thyme or rosemary, are easy to freeze in olive oil. I've found that they keep their taste wonderful.

And it's so easy:

Take an ice cube container, cut the dry herbs into pieces and place them in the small compartments. Now pour olive oil over and into the freezer.

After freezing, you can keep the small chunks well in freezer bags. Then you have the same for frying, braising - or for the salad - a small portion of spicy herbal oil.

At room temperature, it melts immediately, I had to hurry when taking pictures!

Similarly, you can freeze delicate herbs such as dill and tarragon in butter - then you can immediately refine chicken chopped.
