Delicious sage walnuts as a Christmas party gift

  1. 100g sugar
  2. 4 tablespoons water
  3. Boil together in the pot
  4. Remove the pot from the oven
  5. Stir in 200g of walnuts
  6. Chop 7 sage leaves
  7. stir under the walnuts
  8. Put the pot back on the stove and stir again for 1 minute.
  9. Spread on a greased baking tray to dry.

Packed in pretty bags, this is a fine nibble for Christmas. (The best way to prepare double the amount, because you pretty much nibble something yourself;)

For children, this recipe is very popular because cracking nuts is fun!
