Garden de-bark wooden furniture
For a long time I pushed it in front of me. My teak wood furniture in the garden had become very very gray during the rainy years and I wanted to change that. Of course, simply brushing up with teak oil does not bring the desired result, it must first be doused. There are so-called "Entgrauer" or "wood cleaner" to buy.
Here is the first tip: In the hardware store, I found the cheapest for 27 euros for 2.5 liters. This was clearly too expensive for me, so I left him and bought him by buying it on eBay. Was delivered two days later and 5 liters cost including shipping less than 18 euros. I also ordered teak oil right there and got two liters for 15,98 EUR. On ebay just search for "wood cleaner".
Tip 2: Put the wood cleaner in an empty spray bottle. Then the application is quickly finished.
These so-called Entgrauer should be incorporated with a root brush. This is a miserable drudgery, so my third tip:
You buy a cheap toilet brush in the bargain shop or supermarket for 1-2 euros. It is important that the stem of this brush has a round cross section relatively close to the brush head. With e.g. Cut the stem of the toilet brush with a hacksaw. So that then about 10cm long stalk rest can be clamped in a drill. Due to the high Umderehungszahlen the drill brushing / cleaning the wooden furniture is a breeze.
