Gerbera can not hang her head anymore

For a long time I wanted to try this tip, now it was time, I got flowers and one of the gerberas lowered already sad head.

You can do something about it and straighten the stem of the flower with a spaghetti and stabilize.

That is how it goes:

You need spaghetti for this tip - one per flower.

Carefully prick the top of the center of the flower (picture 5) and carefully guide the spaghetto through the head of the flower into the stalk. With the second hand you hold the gerbera gently on the stem and check from outside that the spaghetti does not sting outside through the stalk. You can feel good and control that.

If the spaghetto is inserted just above the curve of the stalk, you can break it just short of the flower head. (Press a little more - you will not see much of it anymore)

To support the whole thing, turn the flower then in the vase, a piece against the curvature, then she stands straight up. I hope that's understandable enough!

In the photos you can see the difference quite well! My gerbera can not hang the head, even 2 days later. I was skeptical and eager to see if the tip works, but he does, and I'm thrilled!
