Grandma's cabanossi soup

I have the recipe from my grandmother. The soup is gladly cooked with us for family celebrations, as it is done quickly and everyone gets full.

Ingredients for a big pot:

  • 3 packages Cabanossi a '200g
  • 3-4 peppers, like colorful
  • 2-3 onions
  • 1 bottle of tomato ketchup
  • 1 bottle of chilli sauce
  • 1 can of corn
  • salt
  • pepper
  • paprika
  • thyme

preparation

  1. First, the Cabanossi are cut small. Likewise the onions and the peppers.
  2. Now roast the Cabanossi nicely.
  3. Add onions and paprika and sauté.
  4. The whole with a little water (about 150ml) deglaze.
  5. Now comes the bottle of tomato ketchup and the chilli sauce.
  6. Season with the spices.
  7. Finally, add the corn.
  8. If the whole thing is still too thick, add more water.
  9. If you like, round off the soup with some cream.
