Serbian bean soup original

ingredients

  • 1 can of white beans
  • 100g streaky bacon
  • 1 onion
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 stick of leek
  • 1 kl. Tin of tomato paste
  • 2 cooked sausages
  • ½ liter of meat stock
  • Salt, pepper, paprika (maybe savory)

preparation

Heat the oil, dice the bacon and onion, then fry until glassy. Cut carrots, leeks into small pieces, add to the pot. Add beans, stir well, about 5 min. sweat slightly. Add the tomato paste, salt, pepper, paprika and the crushed garlic clove, stir. Fill up with the meat stock, then mix in the sliced ​​sausages and cook over low heat for about 1 hour. If the soup is too strong, add water. Maybe spice it up. With flatbread or baguette stick, as you like.

I always cook twice or three times the amount and freeze something.
