Natural hair care with Aleppo soap

For several months, I switched from shampoos to hair soap. I use the classic among the hair soaps, Syrian Aleppo soap, which is mainly made from olive and laurel oil.

The soap is foamed or rubbed directly into the hair and then used just like shampoo. You can, if you do not have to look at the penny, also for the face and body wash use. After shampooing I do, because our water is very calcareous, a rinse from about 2 liters of room-warm water and a splash of apple cider vinegar.

After this procedure, I dry the hair with a towel, comb it with a good comb, which, in spite of my curls, goes without twitching and plucking, and let it air-dry. I've noticed that the hair greases more slowly and the lengths have more resilience and seem less dry since I use the soap.

The original Aleppo soap is also recommended for people with skin problems (such as psoriasis) as it is especially good for the skin. So it's worth trying it all on if you have sensitive scalp or greasy hair.

What I also like about it:

I do not have to buy care in plastic packaging (the soap comes in a paper, the cider vinegar in a glass bottle) and pay about 7 euros for hair care for two months? and in organic quality. A good, exactly sawn horn comb costs between 25 and 50 euros, depending on size and shape.
