The cat finally successfully give tablets
For years, we have tortured ourselves and our cats when, for example, wiedermal a worm cure decency.
The usual tricks (dissolve in cream, crumble in liver sausage, hide in a piece of meat, just strangle, ...) have never really worked. At the Christmas breakfast we finally got the idea:
Break the tablet into small pieces (quartered) and wrap in melted cheese. The cheese sticks so well to the tablet, that the mice can not fiddle it apart and 2 of our 3 cats have eaten their tablets with such enthusiasm. The third one was less enthusiastic, but still liked to feed it.
That's how it's done:
On a small plate melt half a slice of cheese per tablet (in the microwave for a few seconds) and wrap the broken tablet in portions and allow to cool briefly.
This then gives one serving per tablet piece.
If someone thinks that melted cheese is unhealthy, we do not feed our cats every day!
