Grandma's crepe recipe

My grandma always makes these delicious crepes. Finally I baked it and it was not as hard as I had thought.

ingredients

  • 1 cup of sour cream
  • about 500 g of flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk or Kalinka
  • a pinch of salt
  • 1/2 pck of baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon sunflower oil
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar

preparation

  1. First make a dough from all the ingredients. The dough should not be too firm, if it still sticks to your hands, then it is perfect.
  2. Cover the finished dough and let it rest for about 30 minutes.
  3. Then cut the dough into two pieces. Dust the work surface well with flour and roll out the first dough into a 5mm thick circle.
  4. In between, turn the dough over once and dust again with flour.
  5. Cut the circle into strips about 6 cm wide and cut into squares. Cut a slit in the middle of each square with a knife.
  6. Process the remaining dough equally.
  7. Heat abundant vegetable oil in a pot or in a higher pan.
  8. Dip your hands in oil and remove the cut crepes from the table and let them slide into the hot oil.
  9. Bake at medium heat golden brown. In between times, the pan is swinging a bit so that the crepes go up nicely.
  10. Sprinkle with sugar or icing sugar and enjoy.
