Homemade dark sauce with beans

Cut a nice piece of bacon into smaller cubes and fry in a saucepan with some margarine. Then cut 2 smaller onions or a large one into thin rings and add. The rings must also be quite dark (not black!). Then take a good tablespoon of flour and stir the flour in the pot until well blended. Then it is best to add the collected liquid of the beans from the can. If you take fresh beans, then of course only with broth.

Keep the stove at the highest level.

It is slowly thickening, and should be lacking liquid either with broth or water cautiously tip over. Until it becomes a whimsical affair. Now put the stove on the lowest flame and season with salt, pepper, parsley and savory. Add savory more. At the end, sprinkle with parsley again - the eye eats with it ;-)
