Irish brown bread (with baking powder)

ingredients
- 3 cups wholemeal wheat flour
- 1 cup of wheat flour (type 405)
- 2 tablespoons of wheat bran, wheat germ and fine oatmeal
- 1 tsp. baking soda and baking soda each
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp sunflower oil
- 2 cups of buttermilk
- 1 egg
preparation
- Preheat oven to 200 degrees. Grease a box mold well.
- Stir ingredients and fill in the mold.
- Bake for about 60 minutes. The bread should sound a bit hollow when knocked over.
- Let cool on a grid.
This bread crumbles extremely, but is incredibly tasty with a slightly sweet note. It tastes best with salted butter and nothing else.
