Juicy apple fruitcake without fat, eggs, yeast.
ingredients
- 4 apples, core house removed, grated unpeeled
- 100 g honey or maple syrup
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon of ground cloves
- 1TL Cardamom

- 300 g mixed dried fruits, chopped

- 60 ml of rum
- 250 g flour
- 1 pck of baking powder
preparation
- The chopped fruits and raisins are moistened with a little hot water and mixed with rum. Leave something to swell.
- Then mix the flour with the baking powder and the spices, the grated apples with the dried fruit and the honey, and finally knead everything into a dough.
- You can bake the bread in a big king cake mold, or in a bread baking pan. Even a Roman pot is good!
- Baking time approx. 1 hour at 180 ° top and bottom heat, 170 ° air circulation.
- The bread tastes like all fruit breads best, if it is pulled through a few days! This is best wrapped in aluminum foil.
