Lemon Buttermilk Dressing

  • 1 half cup of buttermilk
  • 1 half cup of creme fraiche
  • 1 good handful of lemon balm
  • 1 half lemon
  • salt
  • Pepper (best from the mill)
  • mustard
  • 1 tablespoon of oil (for example sesame oil, who likes olive oil or just normal)

preparation

Buttermilk with the cream fraiche and a tablespoon of mustard. Salt and pepper as needed, while allowing the mixture to stand so that the salt dissolves (so can be salted more precisely later). Finely chop / chop lemon balm. Halve the lemon and squeeze one (possibly 2) tablespoons of juice into the buttermilk cream. Rub a little bowl of lemon (about 1 tablespoon, depending on your taste) and also mix in. Mix the lemon balm just before serving, add some water if necessary to make the whole thing more fluid (be careful, not too much water - and you can also use sweet cream).
