Liptauer cheese

Here is a hearty cheese spread, also you can use good remains of hard cheese!

Ingredients:

400 g cream cheese
100 g - 150 g cheese for rubbing, e.g. Gouda, Emmentaler, mountain cheese etc.
100 g sour cream or crème fraiche
50 g of soft butter
1 small onion
about 1/2 teaspoon sweet pepper
about 1 tsp mustard
cayenne pepper
salt


Recipe:

Grate the cheese, finely grate the onion, mix with the other ingredients and season with paprika, cayenne pepper, mustard and salt (carefully with salt, as the hard cheese is already salty, first try before salting).

Tastes right away, but even better, when the whole thing is pulled through in the fridge!

I guess dvon to take finished grated cheese, as this is actually rubbed too coarse. In addition, one burns while rubbing a few of the plentiful calories that the spread has :).
