With frit fat you can not only drive a car. Since 1942, electricity has also been generated from frying fat from the factory canteen in a CHP plant.
The fact that diesel engines are also suitable for power generation has been found by resourceful inventors as early as 1940. Since then, CHPs run in hospitals and colleges, which are operated with frying fat, which has previously "served" in the deep fryer. How collecting is organized is shown by a model project of the city of Graz, which was initiated in 1998. Since then, it has been possible to either drive a diesel car or make electricity with fryer fat, with which the electric car drives.
