Make nail polish brush narrower
My nail polish purchased with great enthusiasm proved to be almost unusable for painting the toenails, because the built-in brush for all nails except the big toe was too wide, so I had "smeared" despite repeated stripping at the edge of the bottle inevitably beyond the nail surface - a horror!
Waste disposal was out of the question, because the paint was also relatively expensive, but I would not use it for the fingernails. Therefore, I took a sharp nail scissors and carefully cut away on both sides of the flat-worked brush in the approach area of the bristles / hair on both sides a few hairs, so that the brush was thereby narrower. Hopefully less paint ends up next to the nails!
