Making a decorative bowl of ice
This ice cream bowl is a real eye-catcher on special occasions and very easy to make.
Since my girlfriend organized a birthday party in the garden, I made the great ice skates for some guests. In it fruits were served. The guests were thrilled and immediately asked how they can be made.
These ice cream bowls can also be made with fruits and vegetables instead of flowers and leaves. Lemon slices are also beautiful all around.
This is how they are made:
- You look for some beautiful flowers and leaves and wash them well.
- Boil enough water (does not have to be, just makes the ice later clearer) and let cool.
- You need 2 bowls, one of them should be slightly smaller, as you can see in the pictures.
- In the larger bowl you fill in a few inches of water, so that the soil is well covered with it, and then freeze for about 1 hour.
- Now place in the larger bowl, put in the small bowl and put the flowers and leaves around it and fill up with water. No water in the small, only on the outside in the large along the edge.
- The whole thing moves now one night in the freezer and the shell is ready. The work is worth it, the bowls look very pretty. You can make them in all sizes.
