Today I have again prepared our best pepper schnitzel with fried potatoes and cucumber and tomato salad. The recipe for this I have written down for you and I am glad if it finds imitators, the court tastes just as good as us.

The quantities are good enough for 2 to 3 portions.

ingredients

Chilli Pad

  • 1/2 pepper red, yellow and orange
  • 50 g very thin ham cubes
  • 2 spring onions
  • 3 small gherkins
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • Pepper, salt or herbal salt, rose paprika
  • 1 very small spoonful of chilli oil (I've prepared it myself and it's very spicy)
  • 1/2 cup of broth
  • Butter lard for frying

schnitzel

  • 4 small or 2 normal sized schnitzel
  • Pepper, salt, paprika for seasoning
  • clarified butter

fried potatoes

  • Boiled potatoes, cooked the day before
  • 1 onion
  • Pepper, salt, clarified butter

salad

  • 1 cucumber
  • 2 - 3 tomatoes
  • Dressing from vinegar, oil, a little mustard, herbs according to desire and supply as well as garlic, pepper, salt

preparation

  1. For the paprika topping, mince all the ingredients mentioned and sauté in a pan, adding the tomato paste. Add the garlic and pour in the broth. Slowly smear on low heat.
  2. Cut the potatoes into even slices and fry in hot clarified butter on all sides until light brown, add pepper, salt and a piece of onion and cook until tender. Please do not let it get dark.
  3. Season the schnitzel with pepper, salt and paprika and turn into a little flour, then fry in the butter.
  4. Chop the tomatoes and cucumber for the salad, mix with the herb dressing and arrange.
  5. Remove the schnitzel from the pan, cover with the paprika topping and arrange the fried potatoes.

Good Appetite!
