Olive oil for head lice in children
In our nursery school and in the elementary school there has been repeated lice infestation in recent years. Since I found a simple home remedy (olive oil), the problem of lice is no longer an issue for us.
So I got rid of the little pest spirits quickly and cheaply:
Simply spread olive oil over the whole hair and let soak in for 2-3 hours (towel drum). Then wash out several times, the oil is not so easy to get out. The best time with a dish soap and then with normal shampoo, then the hair is beautiful again and the scalp is well cared for by the olive oil. The Nissen can be combed out with a Nissenkamm. But you do not get caught anyway.
This is why it is especially IMPORTANT: repeat the whole thing after about 8 days.
To be on the safe side, I cleaned the brushes of the children and changed the bed.
The method is simple and effective.
The lice were gone with us afterwards.
