Open resealable product bags more easily

Surely almost everyone knows the problem: You buy something (eg grated cheese) in the bag. This is provided with a kind of zipper, which can be resealed by squeezing.

When opening the bag for the first time, you have to rip off a strip of the bag at the top where the bag is sealed (first-time consumer warranty). Now only a little bag left to the zipper (which is initially closed due to production). Unfortunately, this "something" is too often so narrow that you can barely grasp the ends well enough to open the zipper by pulling it apart. This is especially a problem when the bag or the hands are not completely dry - which can often be the case in the kitchen.

In the beginning I tried to dry my hands and bags with a cloth or to grip with rubber gloves, which makes it easier to grip. But even with very narrow supernatants, it is not a real solution. With two pliers you could manage, but who likes to handle in the kitchen with tools that do not really belong there. In my distress, especially when it had to go very fast, I then simply cut the part with the zipper with the household scissors and then closed the bag with a clamp. But of course that's not the manufacturer's intention.

The painstaking dissociation (or the application of a temporary solution) can be easily avoided with the following trick:

After removing the first consumer warranty strip, hold the bag with your thumb and index finger approximately in the center of the zipper and gently push against each other until the zipper automatically splits left and right to create asymmetrical openings. So you can easily open the bag completely. Another advantage is that the zipper stays functional.

Actually, this tip is "just" a kind of "Lifehack", but I think it can save so many users a lot of times so much nerves.
