Place the ear plugs correctly

In times of the football World Cup and honking car parade at late hours some fall asleep hard, me as well. In order to at least easier to fall asleep, I have worried earplugs made of foam in good luck.

Squeezed according to instructions and pressed deep into the ear. Hold on for 30 seconds until the thing has "fluffed up" again. But I had the feeling that the parts are not holding properly and when the head touched the pillow blissfully it made it "Pflump" and the part laughed at me from the pillow.

The variant with halved earplugs, I've tried synonymous. Works a bit better, but lets more noise through.

After an ear canal research regarding the anatomy now my tip:

Pull the ear slightly upwards with one hand, insert the curled ear plug from SCHÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ and hold it tight. Because the auditory canal is not horizontal but is a bit bent, so you have to help a little while inserting.

Since then, the parts are rock solid and I can finally sleep again.

So all a good and especially quiet night.

PS: For those who are afraid to overhear the alarm clock and have a cell phone with wake-up function: In this set the alarm clock, sound on full carrot, turn up vibration fully and set the best alarm tone with a lot of sound. The whole under the pillow and problem solved;)
