Puff pastry bags with cream cheese spring onion filling

Puff pastries with cream cheese and spring onion filling are a simple and fast snack.

You need

  • 1 roll of puff pastry (refrigerated shelf)
  • 200 g cream cheese
  • 4 spring onions (use the green with ease)
  • 2-3 slices of cooked ham
  • 2 teaspoons tomato paste
  • about 6 tablespoons cream
  • Salt and pepper to spice (possibly paprika)

preparation

First wash the spring onions and cut into relatively fine rings. Cut the ham into small cubes. Mix everything together with the cream cheese, tomato paste and 2-3 tablespoons of cream in a bowl and season with the spices.

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees (convection).

Then put the puff pastry on the baking sheet (preferably with baking paper, the rolls are usually already packed in such a way). Of course you can also take TK puff pastry.

Crop as you like ... if you want 2 big pockets, then split them in the middle and distribute the filling on both halves so that you can "fold" one side over the filling. You can also make many small triangular pockets. Tasting also super cold as finger food!

So, now for gluing, brush the edges with cream, fold up and press down the edges with a fork. Then brush the top of the bags with the remaining cream (you can also take devious egg) and put in the oven for about 20-25 minutes until golden brown.

Beware ... those things are very hot inside, so be patient :-)
