Prepare corn quickly - cut directly from the flask

Fresh corn is delicious - and so versatile to use. In soups, salads, casseroles- the fresh, slightly sweet taste of corn kernels goes well with many dishes.

Now corn is ripe, you can buy the butts for little money.

The recipe is known to vorzugaren the corn on the cob in salted water and then to roast on the grill light brown.


If we only need the grains for a recipe, then this is probably the simplest preparation:

Place the flask on a non-slip board with the tip up. Then you cut with a sharp knife the grains from above and below. Cut slowly, the grains like to jump away when they are so fresh.

The grains are now covered with water and boiled with a teaspoon of salt in 5 minutes. Best take a larger pot, the corn foams up when cooking.

Two grains try if they are cooked, if not cook a bit further.

Drain, pour over warm water. Now the corn kernels can be in the salad or the planned dish.
