Who does not know that, it's Sunday, you do not think of anything bad, and spontaneously announce the in-laws or other visit to the afternoon coffee.

Here is a quick and tasty option for a great, easy raisin bread, as my grandmother baked it.

ingredients

For a box shape:

  • 500 ml of milk
  • 80 g of margarine - should be a little softer, so put it out in time
  • 850 g of flour
  • 75 g of sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 packs of dry yeast or a cube of fresh yeast - which is currently in the house.
  • 150 g raisins

preparation

  1. Mix the soft margarine with the milk. (When using the fresh yeast, admit it now)
  2. Gradually add flour, sugar, salt and in the variant dry yeast, this now and mix everything, preferably with your hands, to a nice dough.
  3. Finally, add raisins. (Absolutely last, especially for those who make this dough with a food processor / dough hook, otherwise the raisins are under circumstances after only mud)
  4. Leave the dough for at least 1 hour and then knead thoroughly again.
  5. Then place in a greased tin box and bake at 180 degrees for 50 minutes.
  6. Smells wonderful in the whole house and is made quickly. For coffee with some fresh butter or jam ... delicious.

Tip to modify

Works very well and tastes delicious with preserved rum raisins.
