I usually bake fruit cake (apple, plum cake) with yeast dough. I get along with yeast dough very well, he always succeeds, indifferently, whether with fresh or dry yeast.

Sometimes it has to be fast, so it does not fit in time with home-made yeast dough, because yeast dough needs time to rise. So I usually have frozen yeast dough in stock.

Recently, this was not in stock, only a pack of ready-made pizza dough I found in my freezer. From this I have prepared the first plum cake of this year - and behold, he was good!

For this, I put the dough in a springform pan, pulled it up well on the edge, then sprinkled the whole dough with icing sugar to give it a little sweetness. The plum I have layered, well sugared, powdered with a little cinnamon and baked. That a salty pizza dough forms the bottom, you did not taste it!
