Red Helga - a "cool" layered dessert

Ingredients for a big bowl

  • 2 sachets of meringue, also called "Schäumchen" or "Meringue" (they can be bought in the supermarket in bags or in such a round plastic box, but you can also take the big ones at the bakery, but then watch out that they do not have a chocolate toppings)
  • frozen raspberries (also with cherries, strawberries, etc. must be RED and frozen!)
  • 3 cups of cream

preparation

Now it goes first for the frothy to the preserves: They must be spanked now, until there are small crumbs (not quite to dust, otherwise it is so little).
Then beat the cream until stiff.

Now it can be layered until the bowl is full (it is best to take a glass bowl, looks great in it).

First, the frothy, then the frozen raspberries, then the cream, frothy etc. etc. ... At the very end, of course, still have a layer of cream.

In the fridge everything stays nice and cool, while the fruits slowly thaw. If you do not like it that much, make the Helga some time before serving, and then leave it outside, so that thaw the fruit completely.

Goes easy and fast and is great!
