Reduce nudibranchs
I reduce my nudibranchs (not the snails) already two summers by collecting in the morning.
For this I use disposable gloves and a cup with a lid, which is filled with beer or wine. For a smaller garden, this is feasible. I need about 30 minutes for it. In this alcohol, the snails are immediately fogged and drown. This is definitely more humane than slicing the snails or using slug pellets that birds absorb when feeding on living snails and die from it!
I close the cup and pour the contents the following day to a place that birds can safely use. What the birds do not eat, other livestock get.
