rhubarb porridge

Recently a delicious recipe for rhubarb compote was presented here. We also like to eat rhubarb porridge.
ingredients
- 1 kg of rhubarb in pieces
- about 400 g of sugar
- about 100 ml of water
- 1 pck. Custard powder
- a little water for mixing

- The rhubarb pieces I leave with the sugar for a few hours, so that juice can form. Then add about 100 ml of water and let cook for about 10 minutes until the rhubarb has softened.
- Now I add the pudding powder, which I have stirred smoothly in a little cold water. While stirring, I let the mass boil again until it looks a bit glassy. This is the sign that the custard powder has dissolved.
- Now the porridge is ready! You may have to be sweetened, which is up to your own taste.
To the groats we eat simple milk. But a custard also tastes very good.
