Safe remedy for the itching in mosquito bites
Against the itching after mosquito bites, I use dissolved in water: "meat tenderizer". Are there in the supermarket in the spice department. The itching passes very quickly after application. If the effect is coming, apply again.
Fleischzartmacher contains the enzyme papain, which is obtained among other things from the papaya fruit. It destroys the "foreign protein" left behind by the mosquitoes, which causes itching due to the body's rejection reaction.
The papain usually causes the meat that is treated with it to become tender.
Last summer, meat tenderizer also helped with hornet bites on my head and in my hand. The severe pain resulting from the sting of the hornets soon subsided after treatment with meat tenderizers dissolved in water.
