Sour (broth) sauce

Ingredient amount depending on your gut feeling.

Heat butter or margarine in the frying pan, add flour to it, make a dark sweat, add finely chopped onion, but can also be cut, fry until they have taken on some color.

Then it is quenched with a vegetable or broth, or simply with water and the ingredients added later.


Seasoning with salt, pepper, bay leaf, clove gem. If you like mustard in sauces, you can admit that.

Then add a good dash of vinegar, simmer for about 10-15 minutes.

Shortly before serving still cream.



If the whole thing is too thin, you know, simply thicken something with flour or something similar (sauce powder).

She should already be creamy, otherwise she does not taste so good.
