Spaetzle pan with mushrooms and ham

ingredients

For 3 to 4 servings you need:

  • 250 g spaetzle
  • 500 g mushrooms (or other mushrooms)
  • 1 onion
  • 125 g ham cubes
  • a little clarified butter
  • Salt, pepper, chilli flakes
  • some mini tomatoes

preparation

  1. The spaetzle will be in plenty of salted water for 8 to 10 minutes over moderate heat? Al dente? cooked, stirring more often.
  2. Meanwhile, the onion is peeled and cut into cubes, the mushrooms are cleaned and quartered.
  3. The boiled spaetzle is poured over a sieve, then drained and set aside.
  4. In a large, coated pan, a little clarified butter is heated, in which the onion cubes with the mushrooms are fried for about 10 minutes with frequent turning.
  5. Now add the spaetzle and ham cubes, season to taste with salt, pepper and chilli flakes, mix everything well and then the whole thing at medium temperature again for about 8 to 10 minutes with constant turning fried.
  6. Finally, the halved mini tomatoes are added, then the dish can be served.
