Toxic & unhealthy food for dogs - a helpful list
Being the owner of a fabulous Labrador myself, I have informed myself, in order to best protect and preserve his health, what he is allowed to eat and what not. Other Labrador mistresses and masters will agree with me that it is this breed that particularly challenges feeding behavior. So below foods are out of reach for Baxter :)

1. ALCOHOL:

2. SALT:
As with humans, salt intake can lead to fluid retention. Heart sick dogs are particularly endangered here.
3. RAW PORK
may contain the Aujetzky virus. This is usually fatal for dogs; there is no danger for humans. I'm not sure if this applies to ROHEN FISCH as well. It is therefore essential to heat to at least 70 ° C. In which ? in my view ? Pork does not belong in the dog bowl anyway.
4. ONIONS AND GARLIC
contain agents that destroy the red blood cells.
5. GRAPES AND RAISINS
can lead to gastrointestinal disorders (diarrhea, vomiting) and in the worst case cause kidney failure.
6. AVOCADOS
contain a (harmless to humans) toxin.
7. CHOCOLATE
Chocolate contains a substance that is toxic to dogs. The higher the cocoa / chocolate content (the darker, the higher).
8. NUTS
Due to their high phosphorus (and fat content), nuts are not recommended on the diet
9. DAIRY PRODUCTS
I've heard that there are dogs that are "lactose intolerant" and that respond to dairy products just as people do. Here is probably a cautious test, or a consultation with the veterinarian of confidence.
