Fried potatoes from the bag (refrigerated counter) better than their reputation

First of all, yes, I KNOW, self-cooked potatoes are better, healthier, greener and who knows what else. Comments in this direction could therefore actually save, you would open doors open.

So: I gave up my prejudices against the half-finished fried potatoes (with bacon and onions) from the bag. The prerequisite is that you do it right, in the following way:
Sauté some oil and, if desired and available, bacon and onion cubes in a non-stick pan, then add half of the bag potatoes and chop the potato pieces with two wooden spatulas, turning over again and again until they are dry and crisp. Patience pays off, who serves up too early, is punished with less good taste.

You could also fry the whole bag at once, but then the result is not so good. Better to apply twice.

The baguette potatoes are also very well suited for a so-called POTATO PANEL: roast as described above, then pour over two whisked eggs and spread as evenly as possible with the spatula. At the right moment - the underside is nicely browned, the egg mass is pumped - put on a large, flat plate, with a flourish practicing the omelet on it and then slipping elegantly back into the pan. Although the second side is sufficiently browned, can taste.
