Use bedding to make carpets
Bed linen recycling - so you can use bedding to carpets.
Linen in 3 cm wide strips tear. Then wrap all ribbons on a ball. Crochet with a 12 crochet hook.
So you can start right now, here are the instructions:
- R. Crochet 2 stitches
- Crocheting 5 strong loops in the 2nd stitch is a bit tricky, but it works
- R. Crochet 2 sts in each stitch. = 10 m
- R. in every 2nd m. Crochet 2 stitches = 15 m
- R. in every 3rd m. Crochet 2 stitches
- R. in every 4th m. Crochet 2 stitches
- Work crochet in every 5th round, 2 strong loops
- R. in every 6th m. Crochet 2 stitches
- R. in every 7th m. Crochet 2 stitches
- R. in every 8th m. Crochet 2 strong loops
This results in a small carpet with a diameter of about 55 cm.
Fits as a runner in front of the toilet, as a place for animals and much more.
The size is ideal for a normal washing machine, which is also an advantage. You can wash this rug like linens.
As you can see from the picture, my cat loves it.
