Potato salad with cucumber water

This potato salad, my dad is always on every celebration, because he tastes very good.

It comes from the book "Cooking with children and the witch Garifixi", which is soon as old as I am (21).


ingredients

(For 4 people)

  • 500 g potatoes
  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons sweet mustard
  • 2 teaspoon herbal vinegar (we take brandy vinegar, that goes too)
  • some cucumber water (from the gherkin jar)
  • 1 small onion
  • 1/2 apple
  • 1 pickle
  • 1 hard-boiled egg
  • Iodised salt and pepper

preparation

  1. Cook potatoes until they are cooked. In a bowl mix mayonnaise, mustard, herb vinegar and some cucumber water.
  2. Season with salt and pepper. Cut apple, gherkin and onion into small cubes and add.
  3. Peel the egg and cut into small pieces (or serve in slices on the potato salad) and add.
  4. Peel and slice the ready-cooked potatoes (be careful!).
  5. Put everything in the bowl and mix with each other. Let it pass well.

As a tip on the edge was still that you can cut the potatoes with the egg cutter, as it is faster and you do not burn your fingers.
