Dog has plastic or similar eaten - sauerkraut helps

Do you also have a puppy who likes to try everything and sometimes also consumes plastic particles or packaging / foil of food, if he uses the unobserved second and steals something from the table?

Here's a tip for an emergency from my vet:

Do not panic ... if the size of the dog is rather small. Just a decent amount of sauerkraut (in my Doberman about half a can) once with water to rinse it a bit milder, mix with your favorite food and let it eat.

The sauerkraut wraps the unintentionally eaten piece of plastic / paper / foil in the digestive tract and carries it safely outside without any injuries. Repeat again after a few hours. Really works and the dog carries no harm.
