Use chopsticks several times
Wooden sticks or chopsticks do not need to be thrown away immediately after a single use, they can be used several times.
Shashlik or finger food sticks come in many sizes and materials. So also from quite robust wood. They can be used in a variety of ways: shashlik, cake baking sample, fruit skewers etc.
Although they are not really expensive, it is not necessary to dispose of them after one use or "cutlery" directly. Certainly, many seasoned housewives and housekeepers use it; for one or the other budding newcomer it could be a tip.
Completely without problems, they can be rinsed several times in the dishwasher, with the wider end down, in the cutlery basket and used again. Of course, it's also possible by hand.
So far none of these parts have been swollen or broken by moisture.
In this case, the environmental idea plays the major role in me ... and then they can be stored in a wonderfully reused glass container :-)
