ingredients

  • 600 g nuts (ground hazelnuts)
  • 450 g of sugar
  • 250 g marzipan
  • 150 g of orange
  • 150 g of lemon
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 8 egg whites
  • The shell of an organic orange or a packet of already grated orange peel

Molding:

  • 6 egg whites
  • 450 g powdered sugar
  • 1 Msp. Orange peel

preparation

  1. We like the lemon and orange peel always very small, so they are also cut very small with a knife, the egg whites are beaten stiff, the marzipan also a little crushed and then kneaded the ingredients together and put the dough well wrapped in cling film overnight the fridge, but at least 3 hours.
  2. It is always rolled out a small amount of dough and should be about 4 mm high, so quietly thicker cut out. Thereafter, the stars migrate at 150-160 degrees for about 10-15 minutes in the oven. In the meantime, prepare the cast, beat the egg whites with the icing sugar and add the knife edge to the orange peel.
  3. Remove the cookies from the oven and brush them with a brush, then put them back in the oven for about 3 minutes and bake until light yellow.

Time can not be good for cookies, so I have only entered the preparation time of the dough.
