ingredients
- 600 g nuts (ground hazelnuts)
- 450 g of sugar
- 250 g marzipan
- 150 g of orange
- 150 g of lemon

- 8 egg whites
- The shell of an organic orange or a packet of already grated orange peel
Molding:
- 6 egg whites
- 450 g powdered sugar

- We like the lemon and orange peel always very small, so they are also cut very small with a knife, the egg whites are beaten stiff, the marzipan also a little crushed and then kneaded the ingredients together and put the dough well wrapped in cling film overnight the fridge, but at least 3 hours.
- It is always rolled out a small amount of dough and should be about 4 mm high, so quietly thicker cut out. Thereafter, the stars migrate at 150-160 degrees for about 10-15 minutes in the oven. In the meantime, prepare the cast, beat the egg whites with the icing sugar and add the knife edge to the orange peel.
- Remove the cookies from the oven and brush them with a brush, then put them back in the oven for about 3 minutes and bake until light yellow.
